Millennium Award winning violist and violinist, with music degrees from Edinburgh University and Trinity College of Music, Meg has developed a varied career in classical and traditional music. She has toured since 2002 with She’Koyokh, hailed as the UK’s “best klezmer and Balkan band” (Evening Standard). She’Koyokh has showcased Meg as a violinist and Balkan music specialist throughout UK and Europe on stages such as Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Aldeburgh’s Snape proms, Brighton Dome, and WOMAD festivals, and the group has released four critically acclaimed studio albums worldwide. She has travelled through Bulgaria to music festivals in the mountains and Gabrovo to study the Gadulka. With a Finzi Trust Travel grant she studied in Romania with lautarii (Roma musicians) and renowned Moldovan Gypsy violinist Marin Bunea. She played the fiddler’s music for the Fiddler On The Roof production that got picked for a West End run. She has performed and recorded Yiddish song with Hilda Bronstein, Jewish pop with Oi Va Voi, Greek and Turkish songs with Cigdem Aslan, and played Ottoman Art Music with ensembles in Istanbul, Arabic vocal music with Abdul Salam Khier and Merit Ariane Stephanos, Romanian folk and Gypsy music with Monooka’s Caravan, Turkish Tango with Eylem Korkmaz,  and also performed with La Tipica Contemporary Flamenco Company, Nitin Sawnhey and Talvin Singh, as well as Greek, Armenian, Kurdish, Alevi and Persian traditional music in various groups including the Nihavent Classical Turkish Ensemble.
